Based in Napier, Hawkes Bay region.
Reuben has been involved in the building industry for over 20 years and has an extensive knowledge in all areas of interior fixing and plastering. Working in Auckland over the last couple of years in Operations for Tana building & Interiors Ltd who are part of the Tana Group which has given him a greater understanding of construction at a commerical level and in a fast paced and dramatically expanding industry requiring the skills to face challenges head on. He has completed a
BCITO
- (Building & Construction Industry Training Organisation) National Certifcate in Fixing/Stopping qualification, this ensures all care is taken from the beginning of every project to the finish product.
To maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship, all work is systematically checked before final coat and after sanding has been completed ready for the painters or client.
Maintenance and Cleaning Site
It would be advised all furniture and personal items that are in the areas needing work done, are either moved to a place safe of plaster/dust or removed completely to allow the job to smoothly.
Floors needing to be covered from plaster and dust will be supplied with drop sheets before starting each job.
Its the small details that count:
- All stopping tools are either removed from site or packed away tidely daily .
- Working site is kept clean and tidy and checked regularly throughout the job.
- Commerical vacuum sanding machines are used to eliminate the majority of dust that is created from the final sand.
- On completion of all jobs, site is left clean and tidy
